Snapchat: Pixy drone will probably be shelved

In April of this year, Snap introduced new AR filters as well as a small drone that takes photos and videos of you can. Unfortunately, the gadget, which goes by the name of Pixy, was not intended for our market, but was only to be released in the USA and France.

As CEO Evan Spiegel now reports, according to The Wall Street Journal, that drone is apparently being buried. The reasons for this are probably that Snap has to rethink the use of resources in the current situation. The quarterly results were disappointing again and layoffs are probably being prepared. It is therefore understandable that one wants and has to concentrate on the core business. The existing stock should probably still be sold to interested parties.
