Nuki announced some time ago that something was going to happen in the near future. There’s not only a new keypad with a fingerprint reader, there are also app innovations. We can offer a little more information in advance.
After the first changes, the administration area (“Functions & Configuration”) will also be revised, simplified and updated with the next update for Android and iOS equipped with a search function. This should make it clearer and make it easier to find the most important functions. The release will take place in October, the beta will follow next week.
What is also in the works are widgets for the lock screen on iOS 16 that make it possible to use the Nuki app or individual actions (e.g. “unlock the front door”) via the lock screen. This allows you to lock even faster than before. For security reasons, however, the Nuki app is opened when it is pressed and not blocked directly.
