Adobe will acquire Figma

If you can’t do better, take over your competitor if possible. Something like that is currently happening at Adobe. They want to take over the 2016 start-up Figma . Figma is collaborative software for creating prototypes in the field of UX and UI design.

According to Adobe, the merger will be around 20 billion US Dollars (that were 2012 around 20 Instagrams) cost. Approximately 6 million additional Restricted Stock Units will be granted to Figma’s CEO and employees, which will vest over a period of four years after the closing of the transaction.

The combined company, according to Adobe, will have a huge, rapidly growing market potential and will be able to create significant value for customers, shareholders and the industry.
