3rd Session Of 10th CPPCC XJ Committee Open

The 3rd session of the 10th CPPCC XJ Committee opened in XJ People's Hall on Jan.11th.

A total of 469 members attended the meeting with 44 were absent from the meeting. The attending number met the quorum.

Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee,secretary of CPC XJ Committee,and leaders of CPC XJ Committee,XJ People's Government and XJ Military Area as well as XJPCC, including Nuer Baikeli, and leaders of CPPCC XJ Committee including Aishait Kelimbai seated on the rostrum.

Huang Changyuan presided over the opening ceremony.

Entrusted by the Standing Committee of the 10th CPPCC XJ Committee,Aishait Kelimbai,chairman of CPPCC XJ Committee made the work report of CPPCC XJ Committee in 2009 from 4 aspects, and made arrangements in 5 aspects for the work in 2010.

Aishait Kelimbai emphasized that, under the guidance of CPC XJ Committee, CPPCC XJ Committee should carry out the work according to its rules. Focusing on the overall situation, CPPCC XJ Committee will do more good deeds for XJ's economic and soical development, and exert its functions to provide more valuable suggestions for decision-making, thus better cooperating with XJ's overall work.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the 10th CPPCC XJ Committee, Liu Yaohua made the report about the proposals and suggestions work. He said, since the 2nd Session of the 10th CPPCC XJ Committee, members, units and special committees of CPPCC XJ Committee totally offered 1,150 proposals and suggestions, 1,132 were registered,and 161 were from democratic parties. These proposals and suggestions were handled by 99 units. Up to Dec.28th, 2009, 1127 have been solved or answered, making up 99.6%.
