As one of the cities in the autonomous region that was opened to outside areas,  Shihezi is a “Habitat Good Example of Urban Environmental Improvement” awarded by U.N.  the first city winning China’s first “Habitat Environment Award”, national “Double-support Model City”, “Health City”, “Garden City” and “Advanced Civilization Creation   City”, national “Outstanding Tourist City”, national “City of Advanced   Scientific and Technological Progress”, China’s “First Batch of 50 Investment Integrity Security Zone and six consecutive championship of “Civilized City” of the autonomous region.

On the 18th afternoon, the reporters came to Shihezi Leisure Square, where it is tree-lined, flowers booming, flags fluttering, and it is the terminal station of the torch relay tomorrow, the last bar will be l here in brazier  by the last torchbearer. Staff of the square is making final preparations for the torch relay tomorrow.

All the streets along the torch relay represent a new appearance, and kinds of flower be  are fixed at both sides of the street and the important junctions. Citizens all wear  clothes with Olympic element stickers and hold flags to greet to Olympic flame.Volunteers, safe guards and other staff have well prepared for the torch relay.
