These widespread views are not just resolute judgment and observation from different angles, but express the undoubted feelings and overwhelming love and concern.

However, misunderstanding and misreading of Xinjiang is not uncommon in reality. Xinjiang is frequently described as a region with harsh natural conditions and living environment, an underdeveloped economy and a society with low living standards and poor security conditions.

These negative views, whether out of ignorance or from bias, are definitely harmful to Xinjiang. Although they are not all-pervading force and not always acknowledged, this views more or less reflect the level of understanding and cognition of Xinjiang from without.
