Hou Hanmin,chief of the Government’s news office of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region instroduced Xinjiang’s basic state
Tianshannet(By Zhang Xinjun ) In the moring of Oct 29th , Hou Hanmin,chief of the Government’s news office of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region met with the delegation “BBC Learning English Tour”,and then the delegation paid a visit to the office of Tianshannet.
On the conference,Miss Hou instroduced Xinjiang’s basic state, she said that Xinjiang has the biggest area、the longest border line、the most neighboring provinces in China,there are more the 20 million people live in Xinjiang,all the nationalities live here harmoney .Xinjiang is rich in all kinds of recrouces--- the amount storage of petroleum、nature oil、coal make up more than 30% of the amounts of China,these resources will play a more and more important use in China construction.She invited BBC journalists、TV producers to pay a visit to Xinjiang in the future ,to let the world know about Xinjiang. The the two sides discussed on the future cooperation.
