In 2010, XJ has tentatively fixed 200 key constructive projects, and planned to complete 120 bln yuan of investment. Among these projects, 30 are newly constructed projects. Now, all projects are under smooth progress.

At present, Yengisar Section of Kashgar-Hotan Railway has entered into the period of rail laying, the daily laying speed is 25 km.

At the 200 meters of depth in No.1 coalmine of Ili Energy Company under Shandong Xinwen Mining Group, the coal-mining machines are intensifying forces to explore raw coal. The total investment of the No.1 coalmine of Ili Energy Company is 2.586 bln yuan. Upon the completion,its annual production capacity will reach 10 mln tons.

Last year, Kumbage Village was designated to be a pilot place for natural gas utilization project by Hotan City. From the Jan.2010 on, over 800 farmers got access to clean and convenient natural gas.

This year, Hotan Prefecture launches the pilot work of natural gas accessible to rural households. 4 villages in Hotan, Luopu and other counties and cities were listed into the pilot work. The total investment for the project was 14.05 mln yuan, and over 2,000 households of farmers can get benefit from it.

This year, XJ will do all-out efforts to complete the comprehensive harness project of Tarim River in short term. In addition, XJ will complete the construction of Kashgar-Hotan Railway, Multicolored Bay to Jiangjunmiao section of Urumqi-East Junggar Basin Railway. Besides, Fuhai-Fuyun Railway, Hami to Jiangjunmiao, Hami-Ejina Railway will start to construct. Moreover, XJ will invest 15 bln yuan to construct 11,000 kilometers of expressway and rural highway this year.
