In recent days, Altay, Tacheng and Ili actively transport forage and distribute silage while enhancing epidemic prevention for livestock after the snow disaster, aiming to minimize the loss of herdsmen.

Altay prefecture has recieved more than 13,100 tons of relief fodder from Ili prefecture and Changji prefecture. After that, another 13,000 tons of forage grass will be sent to Altay in succession.

In Tacheng, herdsman Bieding had seen big shortage of forage for his over 50 livestocks. The timely delivery of forage grass makes him happy again.

Gongliu County in Ili timely organized livestock technicians to go to farmers and herdsmen's homes in different groups and different areas, to guide them in epidemic prevention for livestock after the disaster.
