From Jan to Aug this year, Tarim Oilfield company supplies 10.73 bln cubic meters of gas to the west-east natural gas pipeline, completing 70% of the whole year's task.

Due to the increasing demand at the lower reaches of the west-east natural gas pipeline, this year, Tarim Oilfield company strengthens the natural gas production and transport of the main gas supply fields: Kara No.2 and Yingmaili. It plans to supply 15.3 bln cubic meters of gas to the west-east natural gas pipeline this year, a rise of 1.6 bln cubic meters compared with last year.

In order to ensure a stable supply to the pipeline, presently, the company also quickens the production capacity construction of Dina No. 2 gas field. The gas field is expected to produce 5 bln cubic meters of gas annually upon its completion in next Jun.
