XJ's geographical advantage is gradually transformed into economic advantage through the golden passage of Urumqi Trade Fair. At present, 75% of XJ's foreign trade is done with the Central Asian countries, accounting for 68% of China's total trade volume with Central Asia. The resource products imported from the neighboring countries have taken 67% of XJ China's total import volume.
