At Aksu Railway Station, nearly 600 cotton pickers from Sichuan, Chongqing and Henan went to the regiment farms immediately after they got off train.They will pick cotton for 3 months there.

This year, Aksu Prefecture and the 1st Agricultural Division of XJPCC need nearly 300,000 cotton pickers. At present, the 1st Agricultural Division has signed intent agreement with over 30,000 cotton pickers from XJ or inland China.
These days,the cotton sees bumper harvest in Shawan County,and large batch of cotton pickers also arrive there.
This year,Shawan County needs about 60,000 cotton pickers.At present,over 4,200 cotton pickers have arrived at the county in advance.
