2008 17th Urumqi Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Fair will be held on September 1st in Urumqi. All places of XJ focus on the resource advantage to make active preparations for the fair.

In order to prepare for the fair, Changji City tries its best to build up brands and new products. It has affirmed 20 display booths, the most in previous sessions. Till now, the city has collected 34 contracts, with a total volume of over 3.5 bln yuan.

In 2007, Aksu Prefecture totally signed 85 projects of inviting businessmen and drawing capital, with a total value of close to 17.9 bln yuan. This year, the Prefecture will mainly focus on advantageous resources and industries, including petrochemical, coking chemical, salt chemical as well as fruits, and prioritize the promotion of 119 programs.

In this session, Tacheng Prefecture books 45 booths, much more than the 22 in last year. It also makes unified design for all booths, with the scale surpassing the previous sessions.
