Reporter learned from XJ Bureau of Land and Resources that, presently, XJ has 377 coal enterprises. The percentage of recovery for coal has increased to over 60%.

In recent years, XJ takes coal as one of the key resources for pushing the new type industrialization process, actively introduces in Luneng, Xuzhou Mining and other big enterprises and groups to explore coal and build up thermal power and coal chemical base in XJ. Meanwhile, XJ integrates the coal resources through amalgamation and restructure.In 2007, the annual coal output of XJ has topped 50 mln tons. The rational and ordered exploration of coal resource will offer sufficient energy and raw material for XJ's new type industrialization.
