The summer grain purchase in XJ is under smooth progress.At present,the stored wheat has reached nearly 1 bln kg, finishing nearly half of the total purchase task. Moreover, Aksu, Bayangol and Hotan Prefectures have overfulfilled the purchase task.

At present,the State-owned grain purchase and sale enterprises of XJ have accumulatively purchased 658,000 tons of wheat.China Grain Reserves Corporation has purchased 270,000 tons of wheat.In order to fulfill the task, all places of XJ are taking measures to accelerate the purchase progress. Changji Prefecture insists to pay on the spot of purchase to ensure that farmers can get money immediately after they hand in grain.

While Tacheng Prefecture clears out granaries and enlarges the capacity.They have also checked the purchase equipments, and prepared purchase funds in different ways. Some grain purchase and sale enterprises go deep down to the fields to buy grain and stick to open purchase of grain.
