Because the demand of raw coal increase in market, the investment on coal exploration in XJ increases by a big margin. In the first half of this year, the raw coal output accumulates to 24.604 mln tons, 3.996 mln tons more than the same period of last year.

In the first half of this year, the coal sales in XJ accumulates to 25.2357 mln tons, 5.6449 mln tons more than the same period of last year.

In these years, XJ implements the big enterprises and groups strategy in coal exploration. Now,the investment on coal industry planning has topped 100 bln Yuan. The scaled coal enterprises has numbered 102.

XJ is rich in coal resource. It is expected that the coal resource is 1.6 trillion tons, ranking the top in China. XJ has become the important energy relay area and strategic energy reserve zone of China.
