This year, XJ Electric Power Corporation will invest 4 bln Yuan to implement the power grid construction project in XJ.

In the first half of this year, XJ Electric Power Corporation completed 1.029 bln Yuan of investment on power grid construction. 38 110 KV lines and those of over 110 KV with the total length of 1721 km started construction. XJ Electric Power Corporation  will also start to construct 3 extra high-voltage power transmission and transformation projects,and 80 110 KV and more than 110 KV power transmission and transformation projects. Meanwhile, they will accelerate the research on XJ 750 KV power grid and first-phase preparations on the second passage of north and south XJ circuit. After these projects implemented, they will provide guarantee for advantageous resources transformation, 4 coal bases construction inclusive of East Junggar Basin, and hydropower exploration in Ili River and Ertix River Valley.
