In order to support the development of featured fruit industry,  XJ decides to appropriate 50 mln Yuan of special fund to develop fruit industry this year, add another 10 mln Yuan every year from 2009, and make the fund reach 100 mln Yuan in 2013.

The fund will be mainly used in constructing comprehensive disaster-control system of fruit industry, the system for improved seeds promotion, subsidy and propagation, standardized production demo base,base of export-oriented fruit industry and system of fruit technique service for counties and townships. Besides, the special fund for rural public welfare and basic project as well as that for industralization development and comprehensive development of agriculture granted by XJ every year will also give priority to support the development of fruit industry .
