At 15:55 Beijing time on June 19th, the hand-over ceremony for Beijing Olympic torch from Shihezi was held at the Administration Center of Changji City. The first torch bearer is the 46th International Shooting Championship and one of the National Top Ten Shooters Li Wenjie. People of all nationalities sent warm welcome to the Olympic torch along the route. The grand performances including yangkol dance, kidney drum and mexirap offered cheering atmosphere for torch relay. At 17:00 o' clock, 104 torch bearers completed the 4.2 kilometers torch relay and the torch arrived at Yaxin Square. The last torch bearer is the deputy head of Changji Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe Ma Kexiang.
Thereafter, the celebration activities for the Olympic torch relay were held at Yaxin Square.
At last, BOCOG presented the Olympic torch and torch relay certificate to the Party secretary of CPC Changji Committee and mayor of Changji City.
Changji is the 4th city shouldering the Olympic torch relay and also the last stop in XJ. It means that, the torch relay in XJ completed successfully. And then the Olympic torch will be passed to the next stop Lhasa of Tibet.
