On June 17th, the Olympic Torch Relay was launched in Urumqi--the first leg of XJ,and started its 3-day journey in XJ. People of all nationalities in XJ met the Olympic flame and guests with great zeal, sharing the happiness and honor of Beijing Olympic Games.
 At 9:30 am, the first torch bearer Abuduxiku'er Mijiti carried the lucky clouds torch symbolizing peace, friendship and progress and started to run. 
 At 10:10 am, when the 47th and 48th torch bearers appeared at Hongshan Traffic Circle, the people around were all cheering excitedly. Many of them took photos with cameras and cellphones to memorize this important moment for ever.

 After over 2-hour's torch relay, the Olympic torch arrived at the terminal of XJ Sports Center.
