The 2-day 10th conference of Sino-Russian Frontier Economic and Trade Coordinating Committee was convened on the morning of June 11th in Urumqi. The delegates hold talks and consultation on furthering the regional economic cooperation, enhancing the cooperation level and improving the service environment of the frontier areas of China and Russian Federation.
In recent years, XJ of China and relevant state and regions of Russian Federation have obtained substantial progress in trade and economy, scientific exchange, tourism, education and public health. In 2007,  the import and export trade volume of XJ,China and Russia was 600 mln USD, a rise of 255% compared with 2006.
