On the morning of June 10th, the Culture and Art Exhibition of 1st  China Xinjiang International Folk Dance Festival opened at XJ Int'l Exhibition Center. It mainly shows the Exhibition of Achievements in preserving Intangible Cultural Heritage of XJ China,XJ Art Works Exhibition and XJ Farmers' Painting Show.
Over 150 works created by XJ painters of all ethnic groups in recent years and Exhibition of Achievements in preserving Intangible Cultural Heritage of XJ China are on the show.It is learned that, in recent years, XJ gets great achievements on protection, inheritance,creation and development of national and folk culture.Uygur Muqam Art of XJ China has been listed as the masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO. 52 items inclusive of Uygur Muqam and Manas are listed into State Intangible Cultural Heritage Works Catelogue, and 108 items are listed into the first batch of XJ Intangible Cultural Heritage Works Catelogue.
