Study on prevention and cure technique of popular diseases in XJ herding areas--one of the national key science and technology pillar programs during the 11th 5-year program period, will be launched in due form on June 1st. In the next 3 and a half years, 1,700 medical staff at village, township and county level will receive professional training. Their main task is to prevent and cure the popular diseases, epidemic diseases and endemic diseases in herding areas of XJ.
