On the afternoon of May 27th, the 2nd batch of XJ medical rescue team members respectively went to 5 towns and townships in Mao County, symbolizing that the 1st phase work of XJ medical rescue team has been basically completed.On May 26th, Nuer Baikeli,deputy secretary of CPC XJ Committee, chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region called Yin Yulin, the head of XJ medical rescue team, sent his best regards to the members and encouraged them to do their best in rescue work.

It is learned that, XJ medical rescue team has totally received 3,547 patients, and has done 16 operations, used 1.6 mln Yuan of medicines and 600,000 Yuan of anti-epidemic medicines.XJ medical rescue team went deep into all villages in the 5 townships and towns in Mao County. The farthest village is over 30 kilometers from the stationed place of the team. The team members visited all these villages on foot.

Since XJ medical rescue team arrived in Mao County, they did lots of practical deeds. It laid a sound foundation for the tranfer from anti-quake work to sanitation and anti-epidemic work.

Next we will focus on training work. We want to build a sanitation and anti-epidemic team for the village through training .
