In front of the merciless disaster, the warm care and support light the hope of people. For days, XJ people concerned much about the disaster-hit area. Through the relief materials and the donations, XJ people express a common wish: we are together with the quake-hit people to conquer the disaster.

Without banner, the villagers of Jilande village of Jianggesi Township, Yumin County spontaneously donate money for the quake-hit people in Wenchuan of Sichuan. They have just sufferred from 5.1 magnitude earthquake one month ago and most of them still live in simple tents.

72-year-old Wang Zhimin enjoys low insurance every month. He lives on the over 120 Yuan Subsidy. When he learned the donation, he came to the donation site in early time.

WANG ZHIMIN:

"We should donate something. When we sufferred from disaster, others all helped us. Now it is the time to requite."

Dedicating people's care and passing the hope. Meilike, a citizen in Changji, has sufferred from illness for years. She lives on monthly 160 Yuan of low insurance. After Wenchuan Earthquake, Meilike went to the community residents' committee and donated money for the quake area.

"We are of different nationalities, but we are all Chinese. We should help each other when disaster happens."

When disaster strikes, help comes from all sides.On May 20th, medical staffs with the PLA 474 Hospital held the third-time donation for the Wenchuan of Sichuan. And they timely assembled antibiotic medicines valuing at over 100,000 Yuan to the quake area. Meanwhile, the hospital also set up emergency medical team and wait for orders.

On the day, a batch of bio-fertilizer developed by XJ agricultural sci-tech enterprise has been transported to Sichuan, helping the disaster-hit people recover agricultural production.
