The people of all ethnic groups in XJ care about the earthquake in Wenchuan of Sichuan Province. CPC XJ Committee and XJ People's Government call for the people to donate money for the people in disaster-hit areas.Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, Secretary of CPC XJ Committee and Nuer Baikeli, Deputy Secretary of CPC XJ Committee,Chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region gave important instruction to collect money and relief  materials immediately. And cadres and masses rapidly raised 31 tons of materials and medicines.On the evening of May 17th, the first special plane full of materials flew to Chengdu of Sichuan Province.

Here is Urumqi Int'l Airport. Behind me, people are busy loading food and medicines onto plane. The materials include Nang, convenient noodles,dried beef，sausages, water, antiphlogistic tablets and disinfectant donated by XJ for Sichuan. Later,they will be sent to disaster-hit areas by plane.
The most attractive is Nang in boxes.Nang is special food in XJ. They are made by XJ people day and night. After this time's transport by special plane, XJ will go on transporting  donated materials.

After more than 3 hours' travel, at 1:40 am on May 18th Beijing time, the first batch of donated materials from XJ for Sichuan arrived at Chengdou Shuangliu Int'l Airport.Though in rain, staffs are busy transporting these materials to the disaster-hit area as soon as possible ."
