The strong earthquake in Wenchuan of Sichuan Province draws attention from people of all ethnic groups in XJ.The cadres and masses with the Party and government organs of XJ actively donate money for the disaster-hit people.
On the early morning of May 14th, at the donation scene in front of the hall of CPC XJ Committee, Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, secretary of CPC XJ Committee, and other leaders from CPC XJ Committee, XJ People’s Government, XJ Military Command, and XJPCC including Nuer Baikeli, took lead in money donation for the earthquake-hit area, supporting the locals to conquer disaster and rebuild their homestead.
