Presently, the over 200-mu greenhouse grapes of Turpan Prefecture have come into market successively. Due to the  weather influence, this year the greenhouse grapes come into market one week later than last year.

Turpan Prefecture has planted greenhouse grape for close to 10 years and mainly centers in Shanshan County. From  early May, the greenhouse grapes are ripe and come into market and will last till mid July. At that time, the grapes  in the field are also ripe, thus prolonging the fresh grape selling period.
