On March 24th,the Olympic flame lighting ceremony for Beijing Games was successfully held in Olympia of Greece. With honor and wishes, people of different nationalities in XJ are also excited and inspired.  

COLLEGE STUDENT:

"These dozens of seconds for lighting the flame is a long period to us. Now we feel very excited and happy."

SAILIKE TEACHER:

"I am very proud to be a Chinese. We will pass on the Olympic spirit of struggling, turn it to the drive for our daily work,and perform well at our posts."

When the flame, the symbol of Olympic spirit was lit up in the hand of head priestess, Zhangrui, a staff worker of No. 123 regiment farm and the gold medal winner in 800m track and field event at the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games and his family were extremely excited.

ZHANG RUI:

"I hope I can take part in the next Special Olympics World Summer Games 4 years later in Athens,and win honor for our country."

In all parts of XJ, either in the houses of residents, or on campus, people's eyes all focused on Athens of Greece. Wishes also accompany the way of torch relay to our motherland, and to 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
