On March 31st, the starting ceremony of Beijing Olympic torch relay opened in Beijing's Tiananmen Sqaure. People of different nationalities in all parts of XJ watched the live report and together share the honor.  

At about 10:00 am, some citizens in Urumqi went to People's Square spontaneously and watched the live report on Beijing Olympic torch relay, enjoying the exciting moment.

"We are glad to see our country become powerful. When the torch arrives in XJ, I will take my child and family members to see the torch relay."

"I feel very proud to be a Chinese."

By reading the sign language of their teacher, the over 100 deaf-mute students in Qiming School for deaf-mutes in Aksu all learn the news about torch relay around the TV.

"I am very happy to learn the information of Olympics with the help of our teacher.
One World, One Dream. After watching the live report on Beijing Olympic Torch Relay, people of different nationalities in Ili, Hotan and other places all gave their best wishes for the Olympic Games."

On March 31st, Tacheng Prefecture also held colorful sports activities to welcome the arrival of the flame.

It is learned that, XJ is the 41st stop of the torch realy of Beijing Olympics flame. The torch will pass Urumqi City, Kashgar City, Shihezi City and Changji City.
