On January 22nd, the first session of the 11th NPC XJ Committee concluded all its agendas in XJ People’s Hall. 

The conference elected the members of XJ NPC standing committee, chairman and vice chairmen of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region, chief justice of XJ Higher People’s Court, procurator general of XJ People’s Procuratorate and the deputies to the 11th NPC.

Ailigeng Yimingbahai was elected as director of the 11th XJ NPC standing committee, Nuer Baikeli, was elected as chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region.

Zhang Guoliang, Alebusibai Lahemu, Du Qinrui, Li Zhi, Naiyimu Yasen, Maimaitiming Yasheng, Qiaojifu, Ma Mingcheng were elected as the deputy directors of the 11th XJ NPC standing committee. 

Nixiang Yibulayin was elected as secretary general of the standing committee.

Yang Gang, Kurexi Maihesuti, Qian Zhi, Jiapa’er Abibula, Hu Wei, Dai Gongxing, Jin Nuo, Tieliwardy Abudurexiti and Ai’erken Tuniyazi were selected as vice chairmen of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region. 

Rouzi Smayi was elected as chief justice of XJ Higher People’s Court, and Hasimu Mamuti was elected as procurator general of XJ People’s Procuratorate. The conference decides to submit to procurator general of Supreme People's Procuratorate and the NPC Standing Committee.

Abudurezhake Tiemuer and other 47 deputies were elected as members of 11th XJ NPC standing committee. The conference elects Wang Lequan and other 59 comrades to be deputies to the 11th NPC.

Wang Lequan, standing president and executive chairman of the Conference President Group presided over the conference.

Standing presidents and executive chairmen of the Conference President Group inclusive of Nuer Baikeli, Ailigeng Yimingbahai ,Nie Weiguo, Yang Gang, Tian Xiusi, Fu Qiang, Han Yong, Xiaokaiti Yiming, Nurlan Abudumanjin, Song Airong, Zhu Hailun, Bai Zhijie, Zhang Guoliang, Du Qinrui and Maimaiti Rejiefu seated in the front. 

And leaders of CPC XJ Committee, XJ People’s Government and XJ Military Command as well as XJPCC, inclusive of Smayi Tieliwardy, Abudureyimu Amit, Aisihaiti Kelimubai, Qiu Yanhan, Zhu Jinlin and newly elected deputy directors of the 11th XJ NPC standing committee as well as newly elected vice chairmen of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region attended to celebrate the successful close of the conference. There should be 550 members at the session, the present number is 494, which met the legal number.

After the session completed all its agenda, Nuer Baikeli, the newly elected chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region made a speech. He said that, now XJ is in the period of fastest development in history with more benefit to people, strong unity of cadres and the people, and the stable social and political situation.

NUER BAIKELI, deputy secretary of CPC XJ committee, chairman of XJ uygur autonomous region:

"The excellent situation doesn’t come easy. I deeply feel that without the leadership of the Communist Party of China, XJ cannot gain the prosperity and progress. Without a harmonious and stable political environment, we can’t see today’s big exploitation and development. And without the unity and joint effort of cadres and people of all ethnic groups, there won’t be such earth-shaking changes in XJ. At the same time, I also understand that the new people’s government shoulder heavy responsibilities and glorious mission in the years to come. We must keep pace with the times, pioneer and innovate, and try to be industrious and promising. We shall also cherish and consolidate the good prospect of development and stability with doubled effort. And this is the lofty mission our age has entrusted to us."

Ailigeng Yimingbahai, the newly elected director of NPC XJ Standing Committee expressed that, in the following 5 years, the 11th NPC XJ Standing Committee will continuously push forward the socialist democratic construction, safeguard the highest interests of the State and the fundamental interests of the people, strengthen the efficiency of supervision, improve the capability and level of responsibilities performance and make a new chapter for the work of NPC XJ Committee in further steps.
