The 1st session of the 10th CPPCC XJ Committee, which lasts for 8 days, concluded all its agenda at XJ People’s Hall on the afternoon Jan. 20th.

Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, secretary of CPC XJ Committee, Aishait Kelimbai, the newly elected chairman of the 10th CPPCC XJ Committee, and vice chairmen, including Huang Changyuan, Wang Wei, Maimaitijiang Aimaiti, Liu Yaohua, Wang Yongming, Kesaijiang Sailihejia, Ke Li, Liu Yanliang, Reziwan Aibai, Maimaiti’aishan Tuohudali, Ayoufu Tieyifu, Abudulitifu Abudureyim and secretary-general Badai seated in the front.

Aishait Kelimbai presided over the conference.

And leaders of CPC XJ Committee, XJ People’s Government and XJ Military Command as well as XJPCC, inclusive of Smayi Tieliwardy, Abudureyim Amiti, Nuer Baikeli, Nie Weiguo, Yang Gang, Zhu Jinlin, Tian Xiusi, Ailigeng Yimingbahai, Fu Qiang, Han Yong, Xiaokaiti Yiming, Nurlan Abudumanjin, Song Airong, Zhu Hailun and Bai Zhijie attended to celebrate the successful close of the conference.

Wang Lequan made an important speech at the closing conference. At first, he fully confirmed the achievements made by the 9th CPPCC XJ Committee. Then, he pointed out that CPC XJ Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in XJ have great expectations for the new CPPCC XJ Committee. He hopes that the new committee can keep pace with the times, and innovate and develop their work. While carrying on the good traditions and experience of the previous committees, the new committee is encouraged to consistently probe and enrich the ways to exert its function of political consultation, make major efforts to promote restructuring and innovation, improve its work quality and level, and try all means to open up a new chapter of the political consultation work.

Aisihaiti Kelimubai said that members of the new CPPCC XJ Committee bear glorious mission and great responsibility. He also called the CPPCC members to elevate their soul and work hard to strive for building a prosperous, civilized and harmonious socialist XJ.
