Over the past 5 years, the industrial added value of XJ reaches 134.4 bln Yuan, an increase of 91.4%. And the contribution rate of industrial economy rises to 46.7% from the previous 33.4%.

The government work report plans that, in the following 5 years, XJ will expand focus on the resource transformation from exploration of oil and natural gas to coal, non-ferrous metal, rare metal, black metal, nonmetal and other advantageous resources, from mainly depending on the development of central enterprises to big enterprises, groups as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

"I think the gap between XJ and inland provinces lies in industry. Our industry also has great development potential. So we pay much attention to the environment protection while introducing the big enterprises and groups. We should also integrate the eco-environment protection with project layout, approval, design and construction at the same time."

"We should care about the fundamental interests of people while quickening the resource exploration, especially the interests of people at the resource exploration places."

Then how to break the bottleneck in development at the resources places for balanced development during the progress of new type industrialization. The NPC deputies also discuss earnestly this issue.
