On Dec 4th, together with XJ party and government delegation on the inspection in Hunan province, Smayi Tieliwardy, deputy secretary of CPC XJ Committee, Chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region, went to Fengshu Uygur and Hui Township of Taoyuan County, Hunan province. On behalf of Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, secretary of CPC XJ Committee, as well as CPC XJ Committee, and XJ government, Smayi Tieliwardy visited Uygur residents who moved from XJ to settle down in the local place over 630 years ago.
Hale Bashi, forefather of Fengshu Uygur, is the commanding officer of Yanjin of Yuan Dynasty. In 1372, for his achievements in war, Hale Bashi was promoted to be a General by Zhu Yuanzhang, first emperor of Ming Dynasty. After then, Hale Bashi and his troop were sent to safeguard Changde and the surrounding area, Chenzhou of Hunan and Hubei. His later generations settled down in Changde and Taoyuan and lived there for 28 generations. Jian Bozan, a famous Uygur Historian, was born in Fengshu Uygur and Hui Township. In recent years, relying on the traditional advantages, the township intensified its effort in animal husbandry industry. In 2005, the production value of animal husbandry industry reached 112 mln Yuan, becoming an important way for farmers to increase their income.
Sujiadui Village of Fengshu Uygur and Hui Township of Taoyuan County, is a demonstration village of new countryside construction at provincial level in Hunan Province. When biding farewell to Fengshu Uygur and Hui Township, Smayi Tieliwardy sincerely hopes that the local place can develop more rapidly, people unite together and live happily and harmoniously.
