II Project contents
With the assistance of the corporation' s ancillary facility, 50 thousand tones of refining
akali sulphide a year, attached to 6000t/a of ophenylendiamine,and 3000 tones ofpolyphenyl
thioether will put into production.

II Construction condition
Resource Condition:With a production capacity of 150,000 t/a sulfureted alkali in Hami,
it takes up 25% of the total domestic output of sulfureted alkali;paradichlorobenzene and
n-methyl pyrrolidone can supply in xinjiang.
Construction condition:The corporation is located in the salt chemical processing zone
in Balikun County, which has a production scale of 28 thousand tones ofulfureted alkali.
At present,a general planning of the salt chemical industrial zone has been completed,
and the infrastructure of "four supplies and one leveling" has started,so it can meet the
condition of the project construction. The project proposal has been accomplished.

II Total investment and Cooperative Forms
Estimated investment of the project is 1.7 hundred million yuan.
Forms of Cooperation:joint ventured,or cooperative.

II Market Estimation
In 2005,the international assumption ofpolyphenylene sulfide amounted 70 thousand
tones. It is predicted that the assumption will increase at the rate of 15% per year. The
assumption ofpolyphenylene sulfide in domestic market comes mainly from importation.
