Make full use of existing natural conditions and sceneries to plan and construct accessory
tourism project.

   Construction Condition of the Project
Geographic Position: Barkol Xihe gorge is located at southwest of the county, 8 kilometers
form Barkol County, 155 kilometers from Hami City, the altitude here is 2,080 meters,
extended 20 kilometers from the west to the east.
Natural environment: top peaks on both sides formed deep and serene gorge, dark green
pines shading the sunshine, wild flowers and grass scattered all over, birds are singing
and flowers are fragrant, charactering a fine spring day, it was called "hidden spring in
the dark gorge" . The gorge is famous for the beautiful mountain, roaring waterfall, natural
moat, converse pines on the cliff, snow lotus, all ages glacier and greed water. Now the
scenic spots are waiting for development, the outstanding characteristics and brilliant
scenery have provided beneficial conditions for the development of natural scene tourism,
snow and ice tourism in winter and glacier exploration tourism.
