  Description of the Project
Barkol County grotesque tor village scenic spot is state AA level tourism spot, programming
and construction of accessory comprehensive tourism project are needed here.

  Construction Condition of the Project
Geographic Position: Grotesque tor is located 10 kilometers to west of Barkol Lake, 60
kilometers from Barkol County, 10 kilometers from Barkol Lake and 205 kilometers from
Hami City.
Natural environment: the tor is craggy with grotesque shapes, tens of thousands holes on it,
setting off by the blue lake, green grass, blue sky and white cloud, the tor showed
extraordinary forms, to see from different directions, the shapes will show different shapes,
some of them like Buddhist niche, like beehive, like sheep tripe, and others like Pig Guy,
like immortal tortoise, like demon, like fairy. The tor is uncanny workmanship and be
acclaimed as the peak of perfection. At mountainside, there is a flow of clean and cool
fountain on a huge granite cliff, it flows all the seasons, and was called "Castalia immortal
water" by the herdsmen, and they considered it as holy water that is lucky, which can
dispel evil and disasters. The scene of grotesque tor is wonderful excelling nature, such
as "eight grotesques" :   "rock cave beehive cliff, a tor from which Buddha looking at the
see, Castalia in the cliff slot, moon shadow in mirror fountain, new scene on the ancient
road, round ancient camp, kistvaen in king's tomb, high plain on top of the tor" are all
attractive, now these scenic spots are under primary developing.
