Project Name: Project of Organic Bentonite
Projeci Construciion Unit:Hami Prefecture Business Invitation Bureau

I Project Specification
By taking the advantage of the rich Bentonite resources in Hami, the project is designed
to produce 10,000 tons of organic Bentonite per year.

I Construction conditions
Resources: Hami is rich in Bentonite. With positive reserves of 150 million tons, now a
processing capacity of 5,000 tons a year has been achieved.
Conditions for building a factory: The factory is designed to be located in Hami Heavy
Industry Processing Zone, where general planning has been completed and the infrastruct-
ure construction of "four supplies and one leveling" has been launched, so the zone can
satisfy the requirement of the project construction. Currently, the drafting of the project
proposal is under way.

I Total investment Volume and Cooperative Forms
45 million RMB is estimated to invest in the project.
Forms of Cooperation: it can be a wholly foreign-funded project, joint venture or cooperative project.

I Market Estimation
As the organic Bentonite can be used for many purposes, the market prospect is promising.
The domestic demand only have already amounted to more than 100,000 tons, with just
10% produced by China itself and 90% imported from outside. With the implementation
of the project, the domestic demand can be met.
