I Geographic Position
The mine is located at southeast of Hami City and about 165 kilometers from Hami, the
geographical coordinates is east longitude: 94~ 41~ 30" -94~ 44~ '00" ; North latitude: 41 ~ 38 ~ 00" -41 o 39 ~ 30" , and the area is 9.47 square kilometers.
I Progress of the Project
Large quantities works carried out by Geological Exploration departments forNon-fer-rous Metals found that many manganese mine bodies can be explored and used, the coverage of the fourth series of mine is wide, trough prospecting showed that the mineralization body is haricot shape, vein shape, lens shape and henroost shape, they were found in argillaceous facies that contains manganese, by trough prospecting sampling analysis, the average grade of manganese mine is about 20 percent.
I Outlines for Geologic Working
On the basis of current materials, geologic general investigation has been carried out,
and deep exploration and evaluation upon 1527 manganese mine has also been carried
out, these work have found the geologic mineralization rules of mine, and made final conclusion on the distributing scope and scale of mine body and quality, variety, grade of ore.

The estimated project general investigation charges are 2 million Yuan.
