I Geographic Position
The mine is located at southeast of Hami City and about 120 kilometers from Hami, the
geographical coordinates is east longitude: 94~ 43' 30" -94~ 46' 15" ; North latitude: 42~ 15' 45" -42~ 16' 45" , and the area is 5.26 square kilometers.
I Progress of the Project
In 2005, Xinjiang Geological Exploration Bureau Physical Geography Prospecting Group for Non-ferrous Metals has carried out geologic survey, through ground magnetic survey, gravity, trough, well prospecting and drilling prospecting, found sulphide ore with a depth of 0.5 meter, and the content of nickel in it is about 0.005 percent; in the drilling hole, weak mineralization gabbro body can be found, the grade of nickel content is 0.05-0.1 percent.
I Outlines for Geologic Working
On the basis of study results achieved before, through analysis and study on geologic and physical prospecting materials, deep exploration and evaluation upon Huangshan Dongnanshan copper and nickel mine has been carried out, these work have found the geologic mineralization rules of mine, and made final conclusion on the distributing scope and scale of mine body and quality, variety, grade of ore and exploitation prospect of themine.
