I Geographic Position
Chixi iron mine is located at southwest of Hami City and about 164 kilometers from Ha Mi. The main components of ore are magnetite, pyrite and few chalcopyrites, in 2004,Hami Shude Co. has applied for the prospecting right of this mine, and entrust Xinjiang Xinhui Geological Mineral Industry Co., Ltd. to carry out geological physical exploitation, and has found good block sulfide copper metallic mine body at the bottom (vertical depth of which is about 30 meters).
I Resource Condition
In Jan. 2005, Xinjiang Xinhui Geological Mineral Industry Co., Ltd. has finished general investigation of iron and steel mine at Longxi regions, the estimated economic resources (333 varieties): copper: 4,600 tons, gold: 0.99 ton; the forecasted economic resources (334 varieties): copper: 14,900 tons, gold: 3.22 tons.
