I Description of the Project
Use furnace heating production technology to construct four closed 25500KVA Calcium
Carbide furnaces and reach an annual output of 50,000 tons Calcium Carbide.
I Construction Condition of the Project
Resource Condition: the limestone resources in Barkol County are rich, now Taheiyin-
wuzhuerdaban large scale limestone mine bed, Jinfengdaban medium size limestone m-
ine bed, Jiangaoshan west medium size limestone mine bed and Dabanguole north lim-
estone mine bed have been found, the potential resources are 6.38 billion tons, and the
average content of calcium oxide is above 52 percent, it is high grade raw material to p-
roduce Calcium Carbide and cement.
Construction condition: the project is planned to be set up in Salt Lake economic & ind-
ustrial processing zone of Barkol County, the overall programming of the processing z-
one has been finished, "four supplies and one plane" infrastructure has been started,
can satisfy the construction condition.

The estimated total investment of project is 80 million Yuan.
