I Description of the Project
On the basis of plenty of mineral resources and low-priced electricity in Hami, 100 thousand tones of ferrosilicon alloy, 25 thousand tones of carbon chromium alloys,500 tones of molybdenum ferroalloy, 50 thousand tones of industry silicon will be constructed.

I Construction Condition of the Project
Resource Condition: Hami prefecture has rich resource. Coal estimated amount reaches 5,708 hundred million tones, of which 388 hundred million tones have been explored.Kinds of coal include prime coking coal, gas-fat coal, non-baking coal, long flame coal,etc. We have an annual production capacity of 5 million tones of coal and 0.2 million tones ofcoke(blue).The quartzite resources are measured 10 million tones, while the resources in molybdenum mine measures 0.12 million tones. The chromium mine can be explored in Tuoli ofXinjiang, Subei of Gansu, Tibet and Kazakhstan.
Construction Condition: The electric power in Hami prefecture is in liberal supply, and the price of electricity is low. The project construction location lies in Hami heavy industry processing district, in which a general planning has been completed, and the infrastructure of "four supplies and one leveling" has started. Project proposal is being enlisted up.

I Market Forecasting
As Hami is the raw and supplementary metal base for"ba gang and jiu gang"inXinjiang,the products will directly sell to "ba gang andjiu gang" and to other markets home and abroad after the project come into effect. The market prospect of this item is favorable.
