There was a rich archaeological find at the end of the '80s when work was done at the Andicr ruins located on the east and west sides of the east Andier River of Minfeng County. The site was along the southern passage of the desert route of the Silk Road and from the gathered relics we know that traffic between China and the West must have been very developed. From the unearthed relics one can tell that the placehad strong economic and cultural qinfiuence from the Central Plains and at the same time Western Civilization had also left its mark.
