Xinjiang has the highest yield, the largest variety, and the widest distribution of caladium plants in China, and is especially famous for its Yili Caladium, Farghan Caladium, and Beach Caladium. Except for the Beach Caladium, which is unique in that it grows in China's desert, the other caladiums all grow in mountainous regions, grasslands, and boscages (woods or thickets).
