An embroidery work called “Harmony: A Hundred Year Olympic and A Chinese Dream” was completed on Monday. The 2.9-meter-long and 1.12-meter-wide embroidery work made by Yao Jianping and her 28 prentices presents famous scenic and historical spots such as the Acropolis of Athens, the Aegean Sea, the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall in Beijing, the Everest and so on, with 29 auspicious birds representing peace and harmony hovering vividly over the sky.
