As a highway port, Wulasitai Port is situated in Qitai County of Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture and neighbors on Kebudo Province of Mongol. The port was opened in June 1992. 30,000 t goods and 10,000 people can pass through the port annually. As a bilateral seasonal port, the passage of people, goods and vehicles of China and Mongol through the port are allowed. Citizens of the two countries in the border area on both sides of the port can pass through the port by presenting their laissez-passer. The port is open during 1—20 of March, June, September and December every year. The port is 250 away from the seat of Qitai County and 440 km away from Urumqi; 6 km away from Beitarg of Mongol, 110 km from Burgan County, Mongol and 380 km away from the city of Kebudo, Mongol.
