(XJTV)---Of late days, reporters learned from Urumqi Municipal Trade Development Bureau that, Urumqi City will bring forward three stipulations: consultation and feedback system for the policies on overseas investment projects, guidance and coordination system for overseas-funded enterprises, stipulation for overseas investment management and service for attracting more overseas-funded enterprises to invest in Urumqi.

    It is learned that, by the end of 2005, there were 185 overseas -funded enterprises in Urumqi, with the total investment of 994.4527 mln USD. In the contract, the drawn capital reached 376.0529 mln USD. The actually utilized overseas investment was 227.5101 mln USD. According to the data, the contribution rate of Urumqi overseas-funded enterprises for XJ’s economy was 65%.

    Through the implementation of these three stipulations, Urumqi will provide effective service for overseas-funded enterprises, and solve the problem during their operation by flexible forms and methods, thus improving the rate of projects signing, its registration rate and capital investment rate in registered projects. Meanwhile, Urumqi City will also intensify the relationship with overseas-funded enterprises, thus providing them service in time.
